The Process

How It Works

From the moment you reach out to the moment we pack up — here's exactly what happens when you bring Reality Rigs to your event.

01

You Book a Date

Fill out our booking form with your event details — date, location, type of event, and headcount. We'll follow up within 24 hours to confirm availability and talk through everything. No deposit required to hold a date.

02

We Plan Together

We'll get on a quick call to nail down the experience — game selection for your crowd, space requirements, spectator display positioning, and timing.

  • Games chosen for your age range & vibe
  • Venue walkthrough (virtually or in person)
  • Schedule locked in — arrival, play time, teardown
03

We Arrive & Set Up

We show up 45–60 minutes before your event starts and handle every piece of setup. Four Meta Quest 3 headsets, all accessories, and a spectator display showing every player's POV simultaneously. You don't touch a single cable.

04

Put On & Play

Our host is present the entire time. We greet every new player, calibrate headsets, walk them through controls, and keep the energy high. Guests go from zero VR experience to playing in under 2 minutes — no tech knowledge ever needed.

05

The Whole Crowd Gets In On It

Every player's perspective is displayed live on a screen your whole party can watch. Guests cheer, coach players, and compete to get on deck next. VR becomes a social event — not a private one. This is the part that makes Reality Rigs different.

06

We Pack Up. You Relax.

When the booking ends, we break everything down and leave without a trace. Your venue stays clean, your guests stay happy, and you didn't have to manage a single piece of equipment all night.

FAQ

Common Questions

How much space do you need?

+

Each player needs roughly a 6×6 ft clear area to move safely. For 4 players simultaneously, we need about 300–400 sq ft total, which includes space for the host and the display. A living room, garage, or office breakroom usually works fine.

Can kids play?

+

Yes, with some caveats. Meta recommends VR for ages 13+. We have a curated set of games perfect for teens and family crowds. We'll discuss your event's age range during planning and make sure the game selection is appropriate.

How many people can play total?

+

Up to 4 players at a time. Rotation is part of the fun — guests swap in and out while others watch on the display. For larger events, we keep a queue going so everyone gets a turn.

What if someone gets motion sick?

+

We've curated our game library specifically to minimize motion sickness risk. We start every new player on comfort-mode settings and watch for signs of discomfort. No one is ever pushed past their comfort level.

How far do you travel?

+

We're based in Utah and travel throughout the state. Travel fees may apply for events more than 30 miles out. Contact us for specifics on your location.

Do you work with event planning companies?

+

Absolutely — that's a big part of how we work. We're always open to partnerships with event planners and coordinators. Reach out via our contact page to discuss vendor arrangements.
